Each piece should be a maximum of 5 lbs. and no taller than 12 inches. Keep in mind, the rapid cooling process can cause occasional thermal shock and breakage—it’s all part of the excitement of Raku!
What to Wear:
Safety is key, so dress for the fire! Wear long-sleeved clothing made from natural fibers, long pants, and close-toed shoes. Don’t forget to tie back your hair for peace of mind while you work.
